In May 2024, the previously acquired Autonik AB will become Mylab in Sweden and Denmark, alongside Mylab Finland. Together they will form a unified, leading provider of services and solutions of clinical laboratories and diagnostic information systems in Nordics.
The transition under the same name comes with a strengthening of expertise at group level, adding to the already-existing local market know-how. All Mylab multi-disciplinary solutions are now available across the Nordic markets, while local microbiology solutions previously developed by Autonik such as wwLab and wwSync will continue to be supported for existing clients in Sweden and Denmark.
Autonik and Mylab share a similar history, as they were born around the same time. Autonik was established in 1985 and was a pioneer in microbiology laboratory information solutions, while Mylab paved the path to healthcare diagnostics since 1987. They both share the same ambition to develop solutions that deliver added value to customers, users, and patients alike.
As a joint international team, Mylab group has 38+ years of expertise in laboratory data and information systems, 140+ employees, and a turnover of 19M € in 2023. More than 100 million samples per year are processed using Mylab’s solutions across the three Nordic countries.
